Finnish Maritime Cluster

The Finnish Maritime Cluster project has started and is a development project of collaboration network organized by the Finnish Shipowners’ Association, the Finnish Marine Industries, the Finnish Port Association, and the Finnish Port Operators Association in cooperation with the Centrum Balticum. The Finnish Maritime Cluster project is funded by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund and Centre of Economic Development, Transport and the Environment as a part of the Operational Program of Finland, European Maritime and Fisheries Fund in 2018. The Finnish Maritime Cluster started as a two year project (2015-2016) funded by the Ministry of Employment and the Economy. It is a development project of col- laboration network organised by the Finnish Shipowners’ Association, The Finnish Marine Industries, the Finnish Port Association, and the Finnish Port Operators Association.

Finnish Maritime Cluster 2020 report

Together with the Finnish Maritime Society, Brahea Centre has prepared a report of the Finnish Maritime Cluster 2020. The report presents an overview of the Finnish maritime cluster in 2014 including key indicators related to economic, employment, and regional aspects as well as organisational structure. The Finnish Maritime Cluster 2020 report examines the occurring changes in the maritime cluster since year 2008 when the last maritime cluster report was conducted by the Centre for Maritime Studies (CMS) and Etlatieto Oy.
