„Latvian Supply Chain Cluster” (LSCC). LSCC was established in 2009 with the financial support of the Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Latvia. The first 3 years’ experience of this cluster and contribution of  2 international projects to its development are analysed based on 3 round table discussion with members of cluster conducted in October and November, 2012.

LSCC is branch of the Latvian Logistics Association. The members of cluster are 29 companies, 5 higher education and research institutions and two business associations from abroad – Cargoto (Sweden) and European Route 20 (the United Kingdom). The cooperation with Cargoto and European Route 20 are aimed at development of the East-West logistics via Latvia and facilitation of triple helix partnership in freight logistics among relevant stakeholders in Latvia, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The collaboration with higher education and research institutions is devoted to improving curriculum, doing innovations and realizing studies.
